What it does

  • Warns you while you’re still at the counter

    A ping at 80% of today’s limit, and again when an Apple Card or Apple Cash purchase takes you past it.

  • Works out today’s number for you

    Bank balance, minus card balances, minus the bills due before money next comes in, split over the days left.

  • Remembers the bills

    A reminder three days before each bill is due, and on the day.

  • Keeps two people on the same page

    If you both choose to, your partner sees today’s status and this week’s bills, without the amounts.

How to start

  1. 1Get an invite. Money Talk is invite-only for now — ask the person who sent you this link.
  2. 2Log in and follow Home. It walks you through adding your bank, setting a daily limit, and turning on alerts.
  3. 3On an iPhone, add it to your Home Screen. In Safari tap Share → “Add to Home Screen”. Alerts reach an iPhone only from there.
